The construction of the 4.9 km. waterway is progressing at different sections. Heavy equipments are used stretching from Punggol River right down to Serangoon River. 

The first 3 pictures show heavy equipments working probably round the clock, digging trenches.

The second section of the work-in-progress are in the more advance stage of completion of the trench.

This picture shows Sentul Crescent, where the second section of the waterway is located. The almost completed HDB block is Treelodge@Punggol. Next to it, on the right, not shown is the 4 storey Chinese Temple.

This picture shows the Chinese Temple surrounded on both sides by Treelodge@Punggol. Residents at Treelodge@Punggol alongside the LRT track will be able to enjoy a scenic view of the completed waterways in 2011.
