Our PM announced the P21+ last year, hopefully that had triggered some interest in some commercial entities to come in. 

I have some mixed feelings though... I find that leaving things as it is now, maybe abit more amenities but maintain the current greenery and the open space would be just as good...peaceful..

Too many amenities and attracting other town centres residents here might create other problems too..like too much crowd, crime problems, carparks problem, illegal parkings, less seats in buses....

Taking a short bus ride to nearby town centres for more facilities and keeping our own town peacful and green and keeping all the other  social problems out might not be so bad after all.

I agree with you...This place no hope liao!! All the empty promises...only see flats being built but no facilities.

ironically, when BTO announced in the Straits Times, the flats were over-subscribed by 200% or something like that. In the end, the take up rate only 60-90%. Hopeless one lah.

Now better excuse, US recession which affecting SIN already. Just being covered-up by manipulating property prices. Punggol development will be delayed liao.
