A few hydraulic pile pressing machines and mobile cranes are working in full swing at Flo Residence Building site.

It is very interesting to see how a 500 ton or more hydraulic static pile pressing machine ' walks ', 'shifts ', ' jacks up and down ' to location and finally pressed a pre-stressed concrete pile into the ground.

The machine moves like a robot. It takes 20 minutes to walk to it's location and finally pressed a pile into the ground within 10 minutes. Total time taken 30 minutes. This video runs at 4 times it's normal speed.

The site next to Flo Residence recently undergoing soil exploration / testing is up for tender for the construction of an Executive Condominium project.

Flo Residences now gaining momentum. Foundations for two overhead tower cranes had been completed and probably after the Lunar New Year Holidays installation of the tower cranes should begin.

Around the site groups of prestressed concrete piles can be seen, some protruding out from ground level. Work on recovering piles and foundation work are also  expected to begin soon.

The showhouse had been demolished and site offices erected.
