A close-up of carpenters working on the plywood formworks.

Look at the massive support at the bottom. The timber and steel scaffold supports are meant to carry the load of steel reinforcements and concrete, equipment and men at work.

Most of the Punggol Housing Projects are using the latest ( Prefabrication Construction Method ). In the case of the Brighthill Evergreen Home ( nursing home ) the traditional method of Building Construction Techniques was used.

Comparatively Brighthill's progress is fantastic. The latest building construction equipments, such as heavy duty mobile crane, the mobile concrete pumping truck, vertical elevator, the ready made column formworks, experienced workforce helps to speed up progress.

As the picture shows, workers are now working on the 8th level.

These pictures taken from the direction of " FLO Residences " ( just across the road )shows a broader perspective of the Nursing Home.

The location next to Serangoon River gives a quiet, serene ambience for the residents of the Home to rest / relax peacefully. The scenery especially during sunrise is really inviting.

If there are no change in plan, besides this nursing home which is under construction, another two should be constructed in the foreseeable future in Punggol.

The second nursing home should be at the junction of Edgefield Plains extension road and Punggol Drive near to Kadaloor LRT Station.

The third nursing home should be situated between Samudera LRT Station and Punggol Point LRT Station.

At least one of the nursing home will specialised in caring for dementia residents.
