We SHOULD try to support local business

They are obviously not perfect but they are the ones nearby employing the part timers in our neighbourhood,
It will be sad that businesses fail in Punggol, then no one will invest in the area and as a result our property values drop, the mall becomes Ghost Mall like Katong... pretty soon, KTV and Bars move in!

The rationale is this: The PP management jacks up the rental so much, that people with cars have much better options. Thus, how to support our local folks in PP? Besides, some of them have some attitude problems as evident in our popular complaint forum. We shoud try to support them, not must, given a reasonble price range and good service provided. Agree?
