Sequence pictures of the removal of counter weights. In all there are two heavy concrete blocks at the tail end of the crane boom.

The first was dismantled and hoisted away by the 250 tonner. The next will be removed at a later stage to stabilize the crane.

Removal of nuts and bolts from steel braces supporting crane boom.

Two workers ( should be foreign workers working in a steel cage on the very top of the tower crane at least 25 storey or 250 ft. above ground ) removing bolts and nuts.  ???Are Singaporeans willing to work at that height earning a few hundreds a month ?

Once bolts and nuts were removed from bracings and crane boom attached to the main tower crane, the boom will be hoisted away by the 250 tonner.

Next comes the removal of the second counter weight and the hoisting of the tail  end of the tower crane.
