Punggol Sails is located along Punggol Field, opposite Punggol Regalia ( under construction ).

It consists of :

279 units of 3 room flat costing $ 158,000 to $ 185,000 per unit.
218 units of 4 room flat costing $ 249,000 to $ 305,000 per unit.
109 units of 5 room flat costing $ 332,000 to $ 377,000 per unit.

For general knowledge, once the tender was awarded, the construction company has to follow the terms and conditions as stipulated in the Contract Order.

What is happening at the site  ?

1. Land survey of plot and fencing up for security.
2. Set up temporary housing units for storage of materials.
3. Temporary toilet facilities, water and electricity.
4. Site Entrance and temporary hard-core filled roads for trucks movements.
5. Entrance soft ground to be lined with metal plates.
6. Set up a cleaning point to wash tyres of vehicles moving out of the site.
7. Set up temporary site office when construction is in progress.
8. Moving in heavy equipments. Piling jigs, tractors, excavators, etc.
9 Any others items necessary when actual construction commences.

A bird's eye view of Punggol Sails. At the moment Cast-in-situ piling is in progress. In fact, a group of piles forming a foundation is under load-testing.

Punggol sails comprise of 7 blocks of 16 storey residential blocks totalling 606 units.  A block of multi-storey car park, precint pavilion with community facilities.

Expected completion date - September 2012.

At the moment, Punggol Sails are busy preparing the ground for the main building structures.

Daily the rotary piling rigs are busy digging the ground, removing earth, carting away and pile concreting works.

Trucks, concrete mixers move in and out of Punggol Sail's site almost non-stop.

Perimeter fence were erected along the site, leaving a small plot of land at it's corner. Bounded by Punggol Field and Punggol Place, this plot of land is the site for the mosque.
