Tax is easy $$$, who will be so willing to reduce it?
Just like ERP, since when we see gantries being tear down?
It's like a tap, $$$ just flow into their pockets so easily...

Accordine to press reports,  ............  300 motorists were interviewed and below are the KEY FINDINGS.

54 % of drivers do not drive under ERP GANTRIES on their way to work. Of those who do, 70% continue to take the same route despite the increase in ERP charges.

To avoid paying more,  10 % left for work earlier and 6 % left later and 14 % found alternate route.

77 % of those surveyed did not think the increase in ERP charges reduced traffic on the road during peak hours.  Huh? Huh?

5 new ERP gantries built outside city area. oops oops oops

Motorists can expect to pay more to use the roads over the next few months when five new ERP gantries, mostly in the heart of residential areas are up and running.

The gantries are in Upper Bukit Timah Road ( outside Hume Park ), Toa Payoh Lorong 6, Upper Boon Keng Road, Kallang Bahru Road and Geylang Bahru Road.

Since they cannot catch big fish in the rivers, might as well catch small little fish in the drains.   Shocked Shocked
