tats a very interesting idea u got there but pigs will fly the day PAP dares to offend the rich coz after all the rich are solely responsible for putting the tens of thousands pay raise into their pocket. only the rich can afford to invest and better the economy in the fastest time u see
Its just not fair. We are supposedly the "less well-off" ones who had to settle for places in the more ulu parts of S'pore. ERP shld work in a reverse way. The more you travel along the gantries, the less you pay. The shorter stretch you travel, the more you pay. E.g. if you get on the bloody CTE from Molumein and exit at Cairnhill, the ERP gantry will charge you say $5. Whereas poor punggolians like us get a rebate when we exit at Cairnhill and perhaps pay only $1 and better still, none at all!!! Cos we had no or little choice of routes. Those rich pple with expensive property in or new town ,has many options to get to the same point due to their accessibility.
may be can try making us all rich... then we can all afford all those
$%#@&*%#! taxes without complaints.
