ADT Secruity System.......

Hi

I'm a new resident in Punggol. Today a bunch of guys from ADT came to talk to me for some time about installing their security system at my front door due the rising crime rate in Punggol lately. According to them, the latest incident involved a tattooed man trying to break in to a 2nd floor unit at Blk 166A or something. Couple were fast asleep when the wife heard some noise coming from their front door area at 12.30am ... When she went to check, she saw the tattoed man almost getting in... meaning, he had broken thru the gate lock, main door lock and was about to step in ... when he saw her, he quickly siam lor after giving a stupid excuse - he tried entering the wrong house........

Feel free to comment on this issue and also put up incidents that you know to alert everyone else - the innocent ones - about these crime incidents....also please comment on the ADT system, which apparently can be hooked up to your fixed phone line, cable tv modem, etc.............

i had a very bad experience. ha ha. i am stupid to believe what that salesman say.

all their system run on phone line. just that instead of calling the owner direct it just send signal to their respective operator then they call you. so it is definitely slower in response.
