biscuit, u going to france in sept? we're going too! first two weeks of sept. maybe will see each other!

i wonder what is the weather like. i assumed your accomodation is settled? coz its the paris fashion week and most of the hotels at ideal locations are fully booked.

can check out this website, i always use it for reference when travelling. good info about good attractions: www.frommers.com

can go versailles (the beautiful palace), chartres (beautiful church) & Giverny (garden where Monet did his paintings) too. all outside of paris but require 1 hour or so of train travel.

on top of the attractions suggested by forumers here, you can also visit:
Notre Dame Cathedral
Hotel Invalides (Napolean's tomb is there) and within walking distance from Eiffel Tower
Museum Picasso
Centre Pompidou (houses a museum of modern art)
Museum D'Orsay

we're going to Dijon too! i checked with their tourism office, they told me the weather is good! grape harvest happens on end aug and first week of sept. we're not driving, so will be travelling by train. husband hates to drive while on hols. in Dijon, they have this hot air balloon tour. fly over the landscape early morning, i think it'll be a romantic adventure.

here's the Dijon tourism website: www.dijon-tourism.com/uk

i remember moulin rouge has two shows: 9pm & 11pm. so can plan ur time.

be wary of gypsies looking people, especially around Chinatown at night. they're potential pickpockets/troublemakers, i was told the last time i went. but i might be stereotyping, better check with your contacts.
