Punggol To Bartley Road via KPE

I need advice on how to get to Bartley Road from Punggol...possible to take KPE? Anyone has tried this route before?

it is possible but still need to drive couple of min before reaching. The defu connection will be ready only next year. From Hougang Defu cut direct direct across to Bartley Road. Actually alternate can go by usual old road which I find is faster. Upp Serangoon to Bartley.
Cause if go by KPE actually is a circle back to old tampinese road then to KPE. Furthermore tpe is jam every morning.

Hey 0209 thanks!  Sounds like the good old Upp Serangoon road is still the best route.

Is this Defu connection part of the KPE construction phase? Once this is up, does it mean that this MIGHT be a better route than the Upp Serangoon road?
