Take note when buying bicycle..

i took taxi at midnite.. haha. so no heavy traffic. just traffic lights.

as for driving, i agree too that seragoon road has heavy traffic, and for your info, the heavier traffic parts are Little India, Bendemeer/Kallang Bahru and Kovan. but going by expressway best is via CTE / TPE which is at times   

a. ERPed
b. too long a distance to take by taxi (if u have no time restrictions)
c. jammed from Havelock all the way to Braddell

if you are cycling, be more aware of buses because a huge part of this route is along the bus lane.

oh i forgot to add, i skipped riding along Little India because i fear the traffic too (though I cycled there during midnight before), so i took Race Course road (where you find Apollo Banana Leaf Curry Rice) where is relatively traffic-less..
