mine is a pioneer system, so far so good (for a HDB 4 room, the sound is fantastic Smiley no complaints.

only thing i regret not doing, to soundproof the room..
is there a cheap way of doing it?  coz it's directly next to my parents' bedroom.. i feel bad when i on the volume too loud. but if it's not powerful, i might as well just watch it on normal tv right.  what for spend so much to invest in a ht?  but my parents never understand the point.  sianz...

Hi shells,

Cheapest way to sound proof is to use cusion like material & stick them onto the wall.
Another way to to use those paper egg tray & stick it on the wall. They work quite well.
My friend company use it for their recording studio.

shell .... looks like you can talk to the B1 uncle selling eggs liao........He should have the paper egg tray in "bulks" or you collect from him for 2 months should be enough to fill your room liao.

Next is a ladder and alot of glue/double sided tapes?
