Hi all,

saw this online article on AsiaOne (http://www.asiaone.com/print/Health/Women%2527s%2BMatters/Story/A1Story20090614-148379.html) & was saddened by the painful & helpless situation the 4-year old girl & her mummy is in due to her condition...

From the article, they actually live in our neighbourhood... I was wondering (To Moderators of this Forum & others), can we do something collectively as a whole (like organise some sort of donations/ jumble sale etc..) to provide help towards the little one & her family...

Am sure there are many caring & generous ones living in Punggol...

she's not classified as needy family. The media interviewed and access her home. She has all the luxuries.

She needs to raise $350K for her daughter to go to USA for treatment. Apparently, the SIN doctors has no confidence and can't promise the survival rate. But US doctors able to promise 90% survival rate. So this mother wants to give the best medical treatment to her daughter. Her ex-husband is a rich man son, why the daddy doesn't want to help his own daughter leh?
