Hi mum48! Welcome to punggol!

Both my kid and my brother's going P1 next year.
I chose Meetoh cos its just next block and my hubby's a buddhist. Yes its a Buddhist school. Good in what sense I really don't know... hahah... Their P1 is in PM session. I was told they do buddhist prayers before starting classes, a monk/reverend sometimes will visit and talk about morals/stories/etc. I'm fine with all these, maybe even better after civic moral ed. Lesser CCA though.

My bro chose Edgefield cos the CCA is better I was told. They also have after school student care. Their P1 is AM session.

Both Meetoh and Edgefield so far have 100% PSLE pass.

Horizon is a new school... so no comments. Didn't choose it cos it is far from my place.

Hope this helps. Cheers!

From what I know 2-3 years back.......Edgefield will make the to-be P1 kids sit for assessment during the P1 orientation.  Based on the result of the assessment, the child will then be assigned to their respective classes. As such, even by P1, there will already be 2 so-called higher ability classes where the better kids are grouped together. However, the school will not announce which are these 2 classes. Not sure if they are still practising that now.
