Believe some of us are staying with our parents and rely on them to look after our kids. Do you agree that the kids learnt at a very fast rate esp during their growing years? The moment we use a new adjective or (bad word) and the next thing you know, it's coming out from the kid's mouth as often till they learn the next new word. Likewise our actions also speak.
We may enrol them in the best school, nuture them with the best assessment books but the best education often take place at home when interaction is most initimate and impactful. Imagine we heck scold the grandparents in front of them or even send them to an old folks home. Do you not think that your kids will do the same to you? So what he (kid) becomes a scholar next time, earn big money? Our end may be at some old folks home anyway cos we have already set this up in our kid's mind.

To all Punggol parents, let's take a few minutes to ponder over our papa and mama who have given their all to us so that today you have an opportunity to share in this forum and how you really want to mould your kids for future challenges.

I like to share a website http://www.holdinghands.sg/ to celebrate our parents. In time to come, we be like them too ; )

Also check out the awakening section for a clip on "Are these the values you want to instill in your kids?"
