Hie

Are there any parents or friends of friends who have kids attending either
1. Holy Innocent Pri
2. Maris Stella
3. Montfort Junior

Do they take school bus ? How long is the journey ?

My son will be attending Pr 1 next year. And I'm doing my homework now, whether is it feasible to for him to go any above schools in terms of distance.

I know Montfort Junior do not need balloting, so its a sure winner.
Maris Stella if a child baptised catholic can go in.
Holy Innocent Pri is near to my sis place.

So now i need to know the distance the school bus gonna take.

Thank u very much for yr help.

Hi Joy,

My boy is with Maris Stella. Every morning, he wakes up at 6am & leaves
the house by 6.30am. We send him to school every morning, takes about
15min car ride.
I reckon the timing for the school bus pick up would be earlier than 6am.
As far as I know, Serangoon area morning pick up time is around 6am - 6.30am.
Most of the buses reach the school before the 7am peak to avoid the morning jam outside Bartley Road.  The traffic condition can be quite a challenge during the morning & school dismissal hours.
(Really hope the traffic condition can improve after the opening of the circle line tomorrow)

Anyway, do consider the morning factor when choosing the school for your child..
For us, the school's just mins away frm our office so it makes logistics easier for my boy in the afternoons.
