yes, I fully understand the word "Deposit". That why I request for transfer to sibling.  Also, the T&C did not indicate the materials fee.  All these years (2yrs), I been paying a fixed amount $330 per term.  The receipt issued by school also didn't indicate material fee incurred/inclusive.
What I'm trying to share is that we parents are often made to pay deposit in advance.  If I can predict the next month or next year, I will move house or change school or any other reasons. Do u think I will still pay deposit?

I know terms like registration fee, enrollment package, these are not refundable even though change mind within 1 hr.

But deposit especially in education services should be refundable within 1 mth notice. If 1 mth notice not given, deposit will be forfeited.
