Normally I would just feed the "soften" version of the potatoe to the bb. Just steam or boil till soft then scrap it with a spoon then feed. bb dont need and cannot have too much salt or sugar cause their bodies cant take it..

My son's turning one soon and still very dependent on mummy's milk.
Tried introducing formula (Nan, Enfa,Mamil) but he refused to drink.
His built not as big as other babies his age cos my supply also dropping.
Haiz. Sian.
But food wise, he likes to eat.
In fact, he has tried all sorts of food.
His breakfast is usually whole grain oats with fruits OR ragi porridge with fruits, plus home made whole meal pan cake spread with cheese OR whole meal bread dipped in egg yolk and milk then spread with cheese.
His lunch will sometimes be mashed potato with carrot and peas (and milk added), or steam cod fish with veg, or when I am lazy, Nestle cereal but I add steamed vegetables to enhance nutrition value.
His dinner is the most sumptous. 1 bowl brown rice-millet porridge cooked with chicken soup, shredded carrot OR pumpkin, leafy veg, minced pork (OR chicken, beef, silver fish) and sometimes I add in bits of shredded lily bulb or other stuff, then finally add pinch of brewer's yeast, flax seed AND/OR wheatgerm.
wow, din realise my post so naggy. keke.
Just the milk part I very headache and worry.Haiz.

WoW! Your child's meal is very interesting and I am sure he enjoys his food.
Thank you for sharing.

Since he likes his food, y not let him have more solid meals instead of giving milk?
But will be better if he could also supplement his meals with formula milk.

BTW, did you send ur child to a GP for his immunisation jabs or u went to a baby doctor in the hospital?
My bb due for his jab and I am wondering if I should bring him to a GP for his jabs instead of the baby doctor assigned by my gynae
