Actually, what is the difference between Shicida and Glenn Doman's method? i have home tutoring my girl using Glenn Doman since she is few months old. All the cards i made myself.

I think GD methods works as she can recognise words by 2 years old. But depend on her moods, sometimes she doesn't enjoy and i will stop. Now i am trying Maths dots cards on her. Also hand made.

She is able to "count" the number of dots from 1-10 instanly.

So GD method is very cheap...only paper cost.  Cheesy

shichida is only good for memory.

But the kids are weak in interpreting into writing. This is very discouraging to some parents. When reach K1/k2 should switch to useful programme such as MPM for maths, English and Chinese to practise on the writing part.

O... so if we can find another option to help kids for better memory we can save up the cost for going to shichida?

You recommended MPM for maths, english and chinese?

some parents bring their children as early as baby for shichida. If finance still permits, continue shichida till 4 or 5 yrs old. Thereby, switch to other programmes that involved in writing and emphasizing language abilities.

Shichida doesn't emphasize any language ability and writing. That's why some parents feedback that the method is no good, can't see the result when the child reaches primary school.

MPM math is for mathematics only. This programme is suitable for parents who think their kids are very intelligent and want to give their kids an opportunity to explore deeper knowledge beyond the school syllabus.

All these extra enrichment involved extra financial. If family is on tight budget, go for straight path which is called 'tuition'.
