I actually chose Edgefield over Mee Toh for my son, even though Mee Toh is 5 mins walk and Edgefield is 2 bus-stops away. I met with the former Principal to find out more about the school. Chose Edgefield because of her! I didn't find out more about Mee Toh though - hubby didn't want him to go to a Buddhist school...

Honestly, I think both schools are ok. There's a new one too - Greendale Primary School - I like the uniform - very smart looking.

i see...not sure the new P will performance well as per the previous P.  Will consider again when I received the form from MOE...thankd for the advice though.  It does help me in my decision...!

hi, anyone has any idea if you stay within 1km of Mee Toh need to ballot? I heard that for some school even if you stay within 1km also no gurantee. Still need to ballot. My son going P1 next year so going to register this year.

Yes, if the no. of applications are more than the requirements. I am also staying less than 1km away,balloting is required. My son was lucky to be allocated a place. But may be it is because year 2000 have many babies.
