I know that Electrolux washing machines are among the best cause my friend who works in the laundromat industry strongly recommend the brand. I'm using one right now and it's really great. Another thing is that front loading is better than top loading ones because it cleans better and doesn't stretch your clothes so much. The price is a bit steeper than normal washing machines though.
