Hi Bunny,

Is that a vegetarian stall you are talking about?

My friend told me there's a vegetarian stall at Boon Keng, and they sell vege oyster in the morning and afternoon.

I have tried the vege stall near to AMK Polyclinic (oh well, I am drifting to places further from Punggol!)but the best is still Circuit Rd Blk 79A fat uncle in white who specialise in chai tao kueh, kuey teow mee and his vege oyster! Nicely cut into pcs, sprinkle with coriander leaves, and his sambal is yummy.

I even got his personal contact no so that if I work overtime (and taxi driver do not have to wait for long), I'll take a taxi there to tapao home for dinner. Tho superb oily and fattening (made of mixed flour, egg and mushroom), having it once in awhile will not kill me .. at least for now. Tongue

My 2nd and last visit to this stall forever...

Last Saturday I went to have breakfast with my g/f and made the wrong choice of choosing this stall. The mock duck I chose was sour. I had one piece and thought maybe it was just me, so I had another one and was very certain it had turned sour.

Trying to save the trouble, I just left the mock duck on the plate and not confront the stall. However, after that day, I had food poisoning. It can't be any other food as that was the only food that I took that very day that was different from my g/f and her family.

This is a warning to all who patronise this stall... I believe they recycle their leftovers to cut costs. The mock duck must have been from the previous night and recycled to be sold in the morning when I had my breakfast. And now I am paying the price of choosing that darn stall...

The stalls at blk 198 are open 24 hrs. Hence their food items are overnight. This is a similar case with the Nasi Lemak stall. Don't really patronise these stalls at blk 198 often.

Not too sure whether the vegetarian stall is a 24-hrs stall.
