Noisy to stay near expressway??

@tom and @limweech, thanks for the links! Think my searching skills fail

The noise part seems to be a prevailing problem... think will give the units a miss. The ones that HDB ask me to select are from Punggol Edge... a stone throw away from TPE.

For the funny smell part, I am currently staying in Sengkang and at times, there is this funny sewage smell too. Sometimes it get unbearable till I have to close all windows, on A/C and cover my face with pillow in order to sleep! hahaha

Are you guys staying new the TPE?

Happen to be at the overhead bridge linking Punggol to Sengkang at about 9.00pm.. this is the status of traffic pattern on either side of TPE / SLE..

Along both sides of the expressway, there are HDB Blocks, both completed & occupied , some still under construction. Executive condominiums are also sprucing up along / next to this stretch of highway......
