Acupuncture for diabetes, high BP & high cholestrol

My mum has diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholestrol, and they are not well control although she takes her daily medications. I heard acupuncture helps and would like her to try... Any good recommendations? preferably in North or Northeast area as I understand that acupuncture session may be 3 times / week, so need to go to one that's near to her and good one! If you know the rates, can let me know too? thanks!

My dad also have diabetics and high cholestro and high blood abt 8~9 yrs liao . Now he is 81 yrs old .
We bring him to see our reliable and good chinese physician , no accupunture , just simple drink the chinese medicine for 3 ~ 4 yrs liao , so far is well controlled and also went SGH check up , they said his high cholestro no more liao and refer him back to polyclinic for normal routine check up .  I dare not said it will be totally cured for it but can said that is well maintained .

Just wanna share with all of you that my mum's cholestrol level is now within the normal range after one month weekly's visit for acupuncture. Diabetes is slight decreased but still high, but we are happy to see the result within such a short period, as the western medication wasn't even helping after 1 year...
