Motorist on the TPE across Serangoon River Flyover should have notice Cranes and other Civil Engineering heavy equipments working on Floating Platforms anchored on the river.

Workers are busy constructing a temporary steel structure across the river to facilitate / ease morning traffic from Punggol Exit to TPE.

Take a look at the detail by contractor :

In fact construction work had been going on for quite some time and is supposed to be completed in the first quarter of 2016.

When completed, cars from Punggol can make use of Punggol East, turn left before reaching Punggol East Flyover into Temporary Punggol East and direct to the new flyover to Exit 7 KPE, Tampines Road and Lorong Harus.
