Not to worry lah, those rental flats will probably be rented out to old couples. Anyway, although we are young today, in 30 or 40 years time, we may be as old as those old people who can only afford to rent a flat.
Ah ha, provided we have a million dollars in our bank account to live a comfortable lifestyle, otherwise we may be left without better alternatives.
Not forgetting a million dollar today may be worth only $100 K in 30 or 40 years time, which means to say in year 2040 or 2050, we may need much more to be able to maintain our living standards today.
I would presumed, those flats may be meant for our parents who may want to stay close to their children in Punggol. May be lah, this is what the Govt. wants.
