Yesterday morning I was on my usual exercise regime and I saw a group of people wearing camouflaged uniform. Initially I thought they were our regular NSF patrolling due to the Mas Selamat's escape but when I was returning home, I passed them again and I heard they were not speaking in any languages I know of.

When I look carefully at them again, their gear were not of our NS. And this lead me to believe these people are the Gurkhas. They have a knife with them, which the NSF, I saw patrolling last time, didn't have. With such elite forces here in Punggol, this must be a really safe place now or maybe this is where Mas Selamat would most probably be in and making it the most dangerous as well.  Undecided

I think they are speaking in their native language. I saw them twice, first was on the bridge take Bus 62 takes to cross over to Sengkang and the second was at the T junction before Riveria LRT station, the junction further away from the chinese temple.
