ur explaination is absoultely right , but i got it fixed from plumber just a day b4 i saw ur reply ,, he charged me $ 35 , i was looking while he fixed , its exactly how u explanied , i tried to find info online on how to fix but all explain how to fix the one with lever

kool by any chance can you provide the contact of ur plumber? my toilet also have this prb despite changing a new valve last yr but bits of water still flowing out. thanx in advance
