we live in overseas also like that. It's up to the driver whether daring or not. Cross or not to cross. We do this in Singapore, people already sound their horn. So Kia See.

True i went china on many occasion and crossing the street is really a challenge. Also because of the left hand drive rules, or roads also differents Grin

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2063667852598904740

The pedestrian, the motorcyclist, the car driver, The truck driver, bicycle etc.....
(in Singapore, maybe already counting casuality already.  Grin Grin)

Like we say in Hindi " Yeh Hai India Meri Jaan " Translated "This is India my dear "
Anything is possible in India..

Have u heard of an analog TV set those that were popular in the early 70 and 80s..with round knob to turn clockwise or anti-clockwise to the desired channel..I have seen this TV in india where it was modified still with the knob intact but with a remote control part added to the TV. so now u can use a remote control to change the channel as well. Imagine the TV is 20 years old and they are still using it..If this was in Singapore, it will long have been gone perhaps still lying in Lorong Halus
