The thing I want to point out is not whether the person should buy or not but Swee Heng's staff's respond.

"To my surprise, the staff then said 'If you want to put back the bun, there's nothing I can do. Someone will still buy it'.

"The staff insisted that I have to buy it or do whatever I want (meaning put it back to the shelf), but they will NOT throw it away."

This seriously makes me think twice about buying bread from them again...

That stomper should talk loudly at the cashier lady in demand to throw.

BreadTalk threw the bread in front of me, when I dropped the bread. Feels so guilty and 'sayang' for $1.20. Imagine other countries have famine.
