GOOD NEWS......a piranha attacked and almost kill a shark...... thumbs up thumbs up

There was this lady who bought a brand-new Nokia mobile phone for $388 with a 24 months contract. Within a mere one week, the phone malfunction. It was repaired 3 times, still not working and she demanded a one to one exchange. The telco refused and she filed a claim with Small Claims Tribunal.  thumbs up

The Tribunal ordered the telco to pay $778 ( full value of the phone ) within 15 days. It refused again. Next, she went to the telco with court order demanding payment. Telco willing to pay provided she can keep quiet about the whole episode. She rejected and left.  Cool

She bought the phone in August 2007. The problem dragged till 11st. February 2008, the 5th day of Lunar New Year, she returned to the telco, this time, with bailiff and writ of seizure, threatening to seized the company.  Tongue Tongue Finally the company chicken out and compensated her with $1,018.43 covering court fees, bailiff fees and transport charges.

She said, " Life is full of stress. We have work stress, family stress, relationship stress. She continued, " Now, if you spend money and buy things, there is stress too. It's unfair. ANOTHER GOOD NEWS.....To help people who are faced with similar problems, she is willing to help others deal with their " lousy " consumer experiences ---FREE OF CHARGE. clapping clapping
