Hi all,

I have tried wasabi jap restaurant @ compasspoint L2, their curry don nice...and of course not forgetting the curry udon in sushi tei... and their sashimi salad for $8... with their yummy sushi tei sauce... Tongue

erm.... I usually like the food at restaurants run by Pokka foods, but Wasabi at Compass point.... their sister restaurant Tonkichi is by far the better choice. Wasabi is eatable if nothing else tickles your fancy.

There is a NEW whole in the wall Ramen SHOP at Central! Located in a hidden corner. Called Ramen Santouka. The patrons are 95% Japanese. VERY VERY different from Marutama and JUST AS EXCELLENT!!!!
Where Marutama deals with chicken stock, this new guy, Santouka is the true blue TONKOTSU stock. Their choices of soup is Shio (salt), Shoyu (er... soya), Miso, and Spicy Miso, but all uses tonkotsu for base.

I wouldn't rate either Marutama or Santouka as better, as they are as different as Curry Chicken Noodle and Laksa. Expensive though. But LOVELY!!!!!
