Yeah, agree that the zi char stall at kopitiam is the only saving grace in punggol as far as food is concerned.  We are regulars there and even know one of the stall assistants there by name (Ah Chai).  The herbal frog legs soup is also excellent. 

The other one that is not too bad, according to my opinion, is the nasi padang stall at koufu.  So far, have tried their mee siam, mee rebus and nasi penggang.  These 3 items are above average but for their mee siam, you have to check the fried bee hoon first (they usually display it on the open shelf).  Sometimes, they don't fry it well and it's all clumpy.  In that case, better don't buy.  It spoils the taste of the dish.
