The zi char at kopitiam at blk 600+ is also quite good.  I always go for their steam fish and hotplate tofu.  Other good places include:

1.  Economic Bee Hoon, Fried Carrot Cake at Blk 198
2.  Fish Slice Bee Hoon, You Tou Fu and Qiulian Ban Mian next to Prime Mart
3.  Ban Mian, Yu Kee Kway Chap at Punggol Plaza
