Hi Punggolians,
A new freshwater sport fishing pond just started operation at Bottle Tree Park (walking distance from Khatib MRT & free parking for drivers!). This new pond promotes sport fishing and operates on a catch and release concept. The pond is well stock with fishes orginated from the Amazon River of USA, Mekong and Chao Praya River of Thailand and many other species imported from both Malaysia and Indonesia. Below is a list of the species of fishes N their diet in the pond.
The Fishes and their Diet
Redtail Cat (3kg to 30kg) – Live big fish, Live prawn, Bread mix, Dough.
Arapaima (20kg - 80kg) – Live big fish.
Pacu (4kg - 8kg)– Live small fish, Live prawn, Bread mix, Dough and Earthworm.
Barramundi (3kg - 15kg) – Live small fish, Live prawn.
Mangrove Jack – Live small fish, Live prawn.
Mekong (2kg -7kg)– Bread mix, Earth worm and Dough.
Chao Phraya (3kg - 15kg)– Live fish, Bread mix, Dough and Earthworm.
Patin (1kg - 8kg)– Bread mix, Dough and earthworm.
Big Head Carp – Bread mix, Dough.
Keli – Live small fish, live prawn, Bread mix, Dough and Earthworm.
Alligator Gar – Live small fish, Live prawn.
Grass Carp(5kg - 7kg) -Bread, dough.
