Almost 27 days later, the progress made at site is not bad. Soil investigation completed. The equipment left the construction site. Pile loading and design should have been work out.

Heavy lifting cranes moved in on stand by. Pile driving machinery are already there. Workers are seen preparing and stationing pile driver to location. Piling work should start shortly.

A picture of the construction site at our Punggol 21 plus Community Club. So far not much progress. The picture behind is the Nautilus @ Punggol.

Most of the time residents in Punggol had been complaining about noise polution from fighter aircrafts flying overhead.

Did anyone notice although Nautilus Building site ( next to Punggol Plaza ) and the Punggol 21 Plus Community Club Building are in progress, very little noise is generated ?

Maybe we should thank the thoughtfulness of the Architects, Contractors, HDB and whoever is involved to keep noise level down by using up-to-date Piling Equipments.

For example, Nautilus is using " Cast-in-Place piling systems " instead of the precast / Piling Rigs.
Punggol 21 plus Community Club Building is using the " Pile Pressing Machine "

Pile pressing in progress. The lifting of the pile for anchoring to Pile Pressing Machine was done by the crawler crane. Once in place and alignment made, pressing will begin.
