During my in camp training in tekong about 2-3 years ago, saw waterspout also.
That was worst, we saw 2 waterspout & they later combine to become a huge one.
When it reach the shore, it just ended.
The whole training that morning was called off because of that.

Saw it on the news the other day. Heard its not dangerous but with major climate changes is it safer in future. Or is there some safety tips we have to take note of.

doubt its no danger at all ... if it is strong enough to 'suck' the water to the sky or move a tanker, just imagine what it can do to a human ...
