actually it reminds me of something...

have you seen that kids who grew up in the streets, their body system actually developed a kind of immunity to germs..  they eat all kinds of "dirty food" but nothing big seems to happen to them.

but kids who grew up in sterile, protected environment fall sick easily as soon as they are exposed to some bacteria?  why is that so?

Yes, I think so. My Dad is one of them. He doesn't fall sick easily because he grew up in the kampung environment. Also, I think the older folks are stronger than the younger generation.

Yes, my grandpa from Muar is 88 and still kicking alive. Very healthy even after a heart by-pass operation when he was 72. Nowadays, the food also very unhealthy. Fast Food nation.
