Izzit a aunty with a high forehead? Sort of frankanstein forehead the face always black black one? Oh anyway there's a 24hrs clinic at yishun central beside the main road near the interchange. One of the reason why it's expensive is because i think they give you a stronger dose of medication when to the clinic at yishun before paid about $90 for a case of bad flu and fever went home took the medicine and was cured the next day... The medicine made me giddy and sleepy as hell though...  Grin

aiyah....government hospitals are all like that. Many years ago, I went for emergency also waited 3-4 hrs. You mean now, you still have to wait that long hours? Hmm....then why the charges are increasing if the quality is not being improved. very very........strange

bro, sponge her regularly to keep the temp. down....fever don't play play...

well for my eldest daughter at that time we dont sponge her
i just took her to the bathroom
switch on the shower head
and start spraying on her legs for a minute
then work all the way up slowly

she scream but what to do
it was for her own good
but after the water reach her head area
she calm down already
although was shivering
she start to play with the water herself
after that lightly dab her body with towel
where her pampers
where loose fitting clothes
and she sleep soundly
but as parents we must take her temperature every hour
this happen even though we have seen doctor earlier

Bro when you kids are having fever, you should sponge or shower them with tap water, but not to the the extend of them shivering.
When they shiver, the body will generate heat and this defeats the purpose of bringing the fever down.
