ya man!! i think basic things like a community center would be great in punggol. Now the walk-in selection is going on right now ... ... hope got more pple move in then got more faclility ... ...

last time i saw in the 2004 street directory that opp the central church is to be a petrol station, next to the church is a community center cum post office and i think suppose to have a shopping center one... ... then in the 2006 directory ... ... all these gone liao!!!

*sign* government is really fickly minded ... ... what nonsense about have more pple to stay before developing .... it is a "chicken and egg" issue, if got more recreational and facilities, more pple will stay here!

:mad:If we have a MRT line running along Punggol Coast to White Sand , automatically Singaporeans will be attracted to Punggol 21. Have a few stations along the coast-line, with facilities for sea-sports, chalets and resort eating outlets, wow we will look better than East or West coast.

With this added line, there will also be no traffic slowdown at the expressways. Punggolians will save plenty of time and money travelling to Katong / Raffles Place /Shenton way. Agreed ?
