Help for the needy / elderly at their doorstep.

Caring Hub at void deck.

When a resident or elderly or the sickly poor in rental flat needs medical assistance, where can he turn to ? Nowhere except calling for an ambulance.

In Marine Parade GRC, a rental block at Eunos Crescent is slowly changing and probably, the authorities should wake up and follow Marine Parade under SM.

What have they  provide on the Void Deck of the rental block ?

This is what they did and the efforts are commendable.

1. Setting up a Health Centre run by Tembusu providing free medical treatment and welfare services to the residents.  thumbs up
2. The Society of Moral charities provides support for the visually impaired.
3. The Shan You Counselling Centre provides counselling and befriending services to trouble families.
4. The Cheng Hong Welfare Service Society distributed free meals and organise health activities.

So far, we have not heard of any GRCs or constituencies following what Marine Parade is doing.
