I've been to US for a business trip and they use STOP signs at small junctions. What the cars do is that they will always stop at a stop sign, and the car that reaches the stop sign first will be allowed to go.

here in singapore
a stop line also driver just heck care
turn from minor road to major road they just wont stop
unless of course the coming traffic is a dump truck/cement truck Grin

If the authority like TP,LTA and town council can not be bother with all the motor bike on the pavement, postman riding the bike on any surface like basket ball courts, motorbike riding on pavements. If you go for stroll in the evening or jog, how many motorbike and bicycle do you see on the pavement?

Action will only be taken when something bad happen.
