Tan, i guess, for this, there is really nothing we can do as punggol is excatly under the take off route for aircrafts from PLAB, and landing route for commerical aircrafts to ST Areospace via PLAB. I believe the increase in the frequent is due to the NDP, and the Air Force Open house Air Show display at PLAB. The Aircrafts are flying high speed across the airbase, and thats may create louder sound. In fact area from hougang to sengkeng, Eunos, Paya Lebar all will be affected. Actually, we are more lucky then people from hougang (the landing path)..there, you will experience everyday the sound of aircrafts.

They are suppose to fly further out before turning back.  The boom will not be so disturbing then.  But recently there been lots of low flying just above the TPE area.  At such low attitude, the engines will roar as if they are going to die.

Wonder what are the air force doing?  Maybe is their open house so trying to be garang a bit.  I know all pilots like show off

The Airforce Open was held from last Friday to Sundat (3 days).. The airshows involved the fighter A/C to fly pass the airbase at low level and at high speed which later they will be into a break formation for landing, thus we hearing them louder these few days. The F-5 will be the worst due to their afterburner. So i believe should get better now
