CNA has an article on playground at Block 157 at Rivervale Crescent. Boy injured by rusty metal bar at playground, and Pasar Ris-Punggol Town Council said it is investigating the cause of the incident.

The article posts the question "Are town councils maintaining playground equipment regularly?"

Playground is 8 years old?! When I was living in Tampines, in the span of 10 years, I saw the playground near my block transformed 3 times into completely different designs even though there was no dire need for it to be repaired/replaced/renovated.
