many clinics are located in shopping areas..

When swine flu came, punggol residents who were sick went to Punggol Family Clinic at Punggol Plaza or Mutual Healthcare which is next to prime & coffeeshop, or Lifeline which is above econ & coffeshop etc to see the doctor... pretty much the most crowded areas of punggol north. walking pass lots of people to get to the clinic. potentially infecting people along the way.

it just doesnt feel right... to have someone who is sick go to the most crowded places seeking treatment. however, i can't think of a better alternative.

what do you think?

Today's doctors are basically businessman. They are in business. The purpose ? Money Making.

Why do they set up clinics instead of working as a doctor in Polyclinics, Hospitals or  Nursing Homes to serve the masses ? Again...the main purpose is to make as much money as possible in the shortest possible time.

Smiley Where to set up  business ? It has to be in a very busy place where people congregates. Shopping centres, Market Place, Malls etc.

Never mind about whether it is Bird Flu, Pig Flu or Cow Flu, never mind if it is infectious,  It's big business for them.

If they set up clinics in places where very few souls are found, they have to fold up in no time.

Really don't know if there are doctors in Singapore, who never thinks of making money but only to relief the sick of their sufferings. ANY  Huh?
