ok guys here's my take on walkies

i got 2 set of walkies
shiro and soundtech

all singapore approve walkies have max range of 5km line of sight
meaning no blocking what so ever
for urban use usually the range will drop less than half

for shiro, the one that look like a toy, try to avoid it
the sound quality is cracking
range less than 500m
easy to use
cheap
battery life more than 30 hours

soundtech
range 1km
this one give better sound
not too loud
battery life very bad, less than 20 hours
thumbs up for this
it came with earpiece
cost $110

for 446pmr
i'm actually looking at HYT over motorola
because HYT comes with earpiece
and have better reception
but cost factor
$170
