Starting a family - What to do/take note?

I read from the book, the cycle starting between 28-35 days I think. So it is normal. There should be + and - variations.

haiz very sian, didn't ganna this cycle. i counted my previous cycle it was a 29 day one, so i based my ovulation timing on that but this month it was a 33 day cycle! like that how to count for next cycle any advice anyone? like Ariel, my CM is not very obvious at all.

I've similiar issue before I conceive and even now..... when I talked to my gynae previously while trying to get pregnant, she said if I wanna to be precise, I've to 'measure temperature' & at the same time 'use the ovulation kits' to check for ovulation (est. 1-2 days near ovu date)......... *that's what I really did*
Otherwise, I've to take "an average of past cycle days" & then do an estimate on the ovulation day (or use the ovu kits to test actual ovu date)......
