I think you have really captured the son's moment extremely well.
May I know what kind of DSLR are you using and the type of len as well? I'm looking around for the a digital camera (budget $1300), thinking of getting either Canon 400D or Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ50. What do you think?

hi keepsmiling, thanks for your kind words.
i am using both the Nikon D200 and D70s. for this series it was shot with the D70s with a 50mm f1.4 lens.
i think the Canon 400D is quite popular and even the new Nikon D40 is within this price range. bear in mind that the kit lens that comes with the cameras are usually very basic and you don't get very shallow DoF, at most f3.5. so you may want to set aside some budget to get a good portrait lens (if you going to be shooting people).
